Our Team

Before joining Student Defense, Sarai worked as the Legal Recruiting Intern at Baker Botts LLP and as a Holland & Knight - Thrive Scholar Summer Intern with Holland & Knight LLP. Prior to these two experiences, Sarai volunteered and participated in several educational and legal programs, particularly geared for first-generation students from underrepresented backgrounds.

Sarai graduated from Duke University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science, a minor in Psychology, and a certificate in Ethics & Society. She served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the Wilson Center for Justice and Science at the Duke University School of Law, a Writing Consultant with the Writing Studio at Duke University, and as the former president of an on-campus organization called Women in Politics.
